The Indian households would be pretty familiar with the name Ford, because over the years the company has come up with lot many car models for the Indian crowd, which the citizens have embraced with both their hands open. Ford, of course, does not need to establish something or make a loud impact to make people realize that it has arrived, because the company already has a name for its own and it has made a mark for itself pretty back. Talking about the cars that it had launched in India, one thing that always had been highlighted was that all of them were designed for the Indian public. And if you are a diehard supporter of Ford, expect the same with Ford Focus too, because it is going to be the most sought after car 2012.

As per the information available, the car is to be launched at the latest car launch of the company, scheduled for Jan 2012. Ford Focus is expected to rule the Indian markets for a long, long amount of time, because for the sedan experience that it is going to deliver, there might be only few competitors.

The car, when launched overseas had four different models which included a two seater car, a sedan model, a hatchback and a sports model. But considering the Indian audience in mind, the company is only going to launch the sedan model in the Indian markets. The pricing and other details are still vague, but it is on the list of upcoming cars in India.

Exteriors in Ford Focus:

The exteriors are pretty quiet and the word stands in its very literal sense. You would not find any flashing signs or any out-of-place graffiti. The model has been designed so that it turns out to be elegant. Something that would speak for itself through its mere plain looks. The car is available in quite a few range of colour patterns and all of the share the same elegant and attractive finish. Engine Power and Performance?

Even though the four variants run on different engines, the Sedan version of Ford Focus which is to be released in India is going to run on a petrol engine and mind you, it is going to be very powerful. This fact itself has created a lot of hype for the car, as far as cars 2012 are concerned. A 2.0 litre, Duratec, 16V, DOHC, 1-4 engine is going to be used in the Indian version of Ford Focus, as per the revelations made at their latest car launch. 140 hp at 6000 rpm would be generated from this petrol engine, which is pretty much more than average for sedans. Talking about the torque, highest torque of 136 Nm at 4250 rpm is generated by this engine. The vehicle is not automatic and there is a 5 manual shift gear system which is used in the cars. Also, the pickup and the acceleration of the car is it is another efficient quality. Most of the sedans lack this pickup characteristic, but with Ford, you do not have to face it.

Safety and Precautions:

Being the exceptional sedan it is, Ford Focus has got some extraordinary safety measures too. First of all, for all of the 5 people, there are 3 point seat belts, just to make sure that when things go wrong, people inside do not go wayward. Apart from this, there are airbags for the people, and there are side cushions that would come out, in the hour of need, so that the passengers can be saved for any grave damage. Also, the braking system is pretty efficient. Ford Focus, once it gets released in India, would be the best of the Sedans available for the Indian citizens. It has got great interiors, even greater exteriors and a beautiful and a powerful engine system. As a matter of fact, it has got all of the things, that one actually wants to find in his car. A complete package in all the senses possible! Though the on road or the showroom prices of the car are not known it, as per its prices overseas, the car would not cause you much money. So if you are being told that you could be an owner of a sedan car, manufactured by Ford, without empting your pockets that much, you would be an idiot for not taking the offer.
