Currently shooting for the sequel to the 2006’s hit film DON (a remake of the hit film of the 1970’s) in Berlin with Priyanka Chopra, Shahrukh Khan has updated his micro blogging site stating that the actress has made him Japanese. Moreover, he also updated that he has changed his name to Wong Khan. This doesn’t state that the national award winning actress had any problems with the acronym SRK or the name Shahrukh; it is just that the star was introduced to Japanese dishes by the actress.

Wong Khan, aka SRK, wrote on the blogging site “Priyanka introduced me to Sushi. Saw a lot of varieties of chilled fish on an already cold night. Feeling Japanese! New name is Wong Khan”. It is apparent that the star, famous for his quick wit and humor, is trying to get his fans hooked to the fact that the much awaited sequel to the hit film is being shot in Germany. Incidentally, he has also put up pictures regarding his shoot with Kunal Kapoor and jumping from a high building. Moreover, there were reports that Khan’s close friend Hrithik Roshan is also going to join him in Berlin for few days.

It is safe to say that any Japanese reading this would surely be flattered (if they know anything about SRK) that he has decided to (also) be called as Wong Khan. DON 2, the sequel to DON, would release next year along with Shah Rukh’s home production Ra.One which could easily make 2011 a SRK year.
