Technology and Science - Software

The Dutch Web blog post of the Microsoft Inc stated that the next version of the Windows would hit the stores by the year 2012. The information was provided on the first anniversary of the Windows 7 series which saw a merging of features of the XP and Vista modules. Prior to introduction of Windows 7, the operating system users were torn between XP and Vista as the latter wasn’t able to hold all the features and software that XP did while XP couldn’t provide the graphics and user interface which Vista did. Windows 7 merged both the operating systems and is the current demand of any new computer buyer or any individual wishing to change his/her operating system.

Even after such success, the fact that a new version of Windows was going to be released was a pleasant surprise as the new version would definitely be an upgrade of the previous one. However, the blog post didn’t mention or elaborate what features would be included in it or what sort of changes are going to be made or the details of the arrival.

A presentation leak few months back had revealed that the successor to Windows 7 would include an application store similar to that of Zune and Apple. It would be in competition with other mobile makers around the world. According to the World News, the presentation also showed that the new version included several changes with upgrades being made on power efficiency, time taken to resume the Windows from sleep and startup time. Some other changes include working closely with computer manufacturers to differentiate between the different computer systems.

Windows is just too overrated. Ubuntu is what I actually prefer, and recommend.
Mac is too expensive! Linux is the best. Modify and make it your own
